Last Resort
This happens when conditions tax the limit of the conventional medical systems’ understanding.
Many patients fall into this category. Everything that has been tried either hasn’t worked, or has had limited to unsatisfactory results. Many of us fail out of the western medical system because what they have to offer is not what we are looking for. We see this most often in autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, long-standing mental or emotional issues, and infertility.
There are also those who are undiagnosable, such as people whose symptom sets and disability don’t fall into a recognizable diagnostic category. In cases like these, the change in perspective from an algorithmic mechanical lens to a holistic systemic one can make a world of difference.
